The Dielectric Strength Tester is used to test the dielectric strength of
thin sheets of insulating materials. The sample material is placed
between two electrodes a high voltage is applied to the
electrodes.
Technical Specification
? Two 5 mm electrodes
? Weight of moveable top electrode: 100 g
? Insulated frame to avoid risk of hazard. Top weight insulated
electrode
? 4 mm banana-plug connectors (safety type) for connection of
high voltage
? Intended for thin sheets of insulating material, but can handle up
to approximately 12 mm thick samples
? A high voltage generator is needed for the test ( included)
